Zesei stops and looks back. "I think you should go alone, you can handle it." He walks back inside and hands her a pack full of food and other items. "now go, I was to know where the Rebels are."

As Zesei enters he sees Xelha leave. "good, she can take orders. Raz, why not come sit, someone bring her a refreshing drink." He sits down and sips the ale sat down in front of him. "so what has happened since you left."

"You mean since my father left? Nothing too important, besides finally getting to beat down my rival in a fight. I didn't only come to take over my father's place, I have some news that you may want to hear." Raz accepted the drink she was handed and sipped it, her eyes never straying from Zesei for long.

Zesei nodded while listening. "please child, tell me what you need to, I am listening." He gulps his ale, while removing his sword and placing it on the table.

"Well, someone managed to get past my security system and stole my mother's most prized necklace. The one my father spent two years of hard work's pay to buy. Whoever it was didn't take anything else, but they knew how to get past my system and knew what they wanted, which means anyone could be next. Even you, Sire." Raz set down her cup and glanced around the room, tyring to avoid Zesei's gaze.

Zesei set down the mug. "Razi, you of all people should know not to call me that." He then shook his head and wiped his mouth. "you and your father both well knew I am not really the king, I don't know why he has me act as such but I do, your father was lieutenant in my squad where I was captain." He cast his gaze to a door, which when opened leads down a long hall and then to a set of stairs, where the true king resides. "I am sorry to hear about the necklace, I will help you get it back. I loved you mother very much, she was like a sister to me, stealing from her is worse than stealing from me."

"It isn't the stealing I'm angry about, Zesei. That necklace had a powerful gem on it, one that would make even the best necromancer fall to his knees if used to its full potential. If the rebels got hold of that gem, we'd all be doomed. The Empire would fall in mere hours if they have that gem. I don't only want that necklace back, but destroyed. No longer will I watch over something so deadly. My father was bad enough." Raz picked up her drink again and drained half of it before following Zesei's gaze to the door.
"You'll make sure he knows, won't you?"
