Murtak nods. "good then welcome to the rebellion." He pulls his dagger out and puts it on the table, along with his bow. "set your staff down please, I would like to examine it, I saw you do some odd things with it earlier."

Benkei sat his staff down on the table, and went in a back room to change his clothes.

Murtak picks it up and examines every peice of it. "this is very unique staff." He twirls the staff and remembers the training he did with bamboo staffs. He gathers some energy and says a spell "hagane buin" The staff body turns to steel and gains heavier. He still twirls it with ease. "I wonder why the head did not change." He inspects the head, seeing its nothing like anything he has ever seen before. "Benkei, when you get back, I am curious to know about this staff head."

Benkei walked out of the back room, changed into leather battle gear, including a battle harness. "The head isn't part of the staff. It can be removed, revealing a blade. This makes a monk's staff into a glaive. Very efficient, and very nasty."

"No kidding." Amy sat up on the bed Murtak had placed her on and smiled at the two, holding back a laugh. She put a hand to her head and swung her legs over the side of the bed, leaning forward. Her face was pale and she seemed sick, but was fine.
"Thank you for bringing me inside, and listening to what I had said. Did you find out where that magic spike came from?" She dropped her hand from her temple and looked to Murtak, instantly becoming serious despite her weak state.

Murtak looked at Amy and released the magic on the staff before setting it back down on the table. "yes, the spike was from a necromancer, which is why the guards would never end. You can't pull chi from no where, and once someone dies there chi is gone for good, so to bring them back, he had to pull chi from the stuff around him, that being us. But luckily one can regain there own chi as long as there is still enough to expand." He ran his finger down the side of his blade looking at it. "I killed him though, so no more need to worry......though someone does need to clean up all those dead bodies."

Benkei picked his staff up off of the table, and turned to face Amy. "I don't really feel like handling the bodies. Not afraid or anything, but death just......you know." he said, removing the staff head to clean the blade.

"Someone will get them. Later, perhaps." Amy sighed and ran a hand through her hair, the color of her cheeks starting to come back. She layed back with her legs still dangling off the bed and stared at the ceiling, trying to stop the nausea.

Murtak laughed. "no one really knows where this is, plus all the authorities are with the empire, someone comes to clean this up, which is highly unlikly, they will find us." He picked up his bow and a single arrow. "if I am needed I will be downstairs." He walks down the stairs.

"I meant someone from here. All those dead bodies will start to stink in a week or so, which will draw someone from Pykal here and we'll be found. Didn't hear a word I said." Amy turned to see Murtak was already gone and sighed. She put her arm over her eyes and attempted to get some rest after that, her energy still low.
